Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Pawtal HQ (the “Service”), a hosted booking and management platform for pet-care businesses. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Your account

You are responsible for the information you enter, for keeping your login details secure, and for all activity under your account. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication. You must be entitled to operate a pet-care business in your jurisdiction.

2. Free trial & licensing

• New accounts start on a free trial allowing up to 5 bookings. Customers and pets are unlimited during the trial.
• Purchasing a licence removes the booking limit for the licensed period (normally one year).
• When a licence lapses or the trial limit is exceeded, your newest 5 bookings remain fully active; older bookings become read-only (you can still view them) until you add or renew a licence. No booking data is deleted.
• Licence fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

3. Provider maintenance access

This access is used only for legitimate operational, support, security and maintenance purposes. Access is protected by a hashed credential and may be further secured with two-factor authentication. By using the Service you acknowledge and consent to this maintenance access.

4. Your customers’ data & GDPR

Your business is the data controller for the customer and pet records you store; the provider acts as a data processor hosting that data on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your customers’ information, for honouring their data-protection rights, and for keeping records accurate. We process data only to provide and support the Service.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully, or to store unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to access other businesses’ accounts or data, or to circumvent licensing or security controls.
• Do not resell or sublicense the Service without written permission.

6. Availability & data

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. You are encouraged to keep your own copies of important records. We are not liable for loss of data outside our reasonable control.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of business arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or for non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination we may delete account data after a reasonable period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
